Our goal is to provide couples with countless memories through the images we capture and provide a level of customer service that far exceeds their highest expectations. In our eyes, your wedding is one of...if not the most important day of your lives. Most couples today have a specific vision of what their wedding day should be. Especially with professional photography, each bride and groom has something unique to offer that makes it theirs alone. Our priority is to listen to our couples. Allowing them to create and customize our wedding services into a lifetime of cherished images. To begin, both of us photograph your wedding day. Since the dawn of time men and women view the images they see differently. Although your wedding day has one special message, we present two entirely different perspectives. This gives our brides and grooms the ability to select images from more than one style of photography. Having two photographers also relieves much of the stress felt by couples associated with equipment failure or that only one photograph was taken of a very important part of their wedding day. Another feature is the absence of time restrictions. Depending on what couples wish to achieve with their photography, we will be with them from 6 to 12 hours or more. Our couples are never rushed to accomplish their wishes or hurried through the highlights of their reception. The photographs should reveal the emotions and fun of your wedding day from beginning to end. If you are only beginning to research New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine wedding photographers or have visited several studios and have not found the style of photography or the chemistry you were looking for, we hope you will consider your wedding photography worth the investment of time to visit our gallery. We will also travel anywhere in the United States for those who desire our ability to tell their wedding story and who feel our approach as well as our creative vision fills their wedding photography needs. Wedding Photographers
It’s helpful to supply
information as to your bridal party size, location of events, expected guest
list and special photography requests.
This should generate conversation which will either interest you in the
services a
particular photographer has to offer or not, allowing you to prioritize your
choices. Make
Appointments
The appointment is your
opportunity to view a photographer’s work, their creativity, and much more.
It is your chance to observe their personalities, demeanor, and people skills. Unlike other
services, the photographer(s) will be with you the majority of your day.
It’s important to know that you, your family, and friends will feel
comfortable and enjoy the various photo sessions.
Many times a couple will know the chemistry is right from the initial
consultation. FAQ’s
(Frequently Asked Questions)
The following are some
questions that during your appointment should be asked and answered to your
satisfaction. Most photographers
will supply the information as part of their presentation, but be sure to ask
all the questions you want.
Photographers
who only moonlight or have another full time job have much less to lose if a
couple should be unhappy. His or her
livelihood and reputation are not controlled by their photographic income or
services they deliver. The equipment
they may use, such as; cameras, film types, and how images are processed and
printed may be inferior to photographers who invest in professional gear and
professional printing labs.
A
couple’s wedding photography should represent the story of their day.
A photographer who takes more than one event per day can not provide that
type of coverage.
In
today’s photography market, some studios employ several photographers per date
in order to have multiple bookings. Be
careful that you’re interviewing the photographer(s) who will be capturing
your day as well as viewing their images & albums.
You may be viewing more than one photographers’ work from the
studio’s staff.
Although
there are many professionals who do not belong to any associations, usually
these organizations have some recognition and professional requirements.
Most
professional photographers carry exclusive album lines that are not available to
the general public. They may offer
more than one line of professional albums.
You may
laugh, but we had a couple say they saw a photographer at a wedding in sweats!
As often as you need to feel comfortable, but you should expect to meet at least a month before your wedding date to go over any last minute details. This includes visiting any locations that the couple or photographer(s) are not familiar with as well as prepare a timeline of the day's scheduled events.
Many bridal journals and
magazines have a checklist of questions to ask the photographer as well as other
vendor services. Again you should
use every resource at your disposal to insure the wedding of your dreams is just
that.
The contract protects both the
couple and the photographer from any unforeseen circumstances.
It should contain information on what is being provided for service along
with the responsibilities of the photographer(s). It
will also contain information on the amount of retainer required, payment
details, cancellation policies, copyright law, and usage rights. Avoid
all vendors that don’t offer a contract to secure their services for your
wedding date. We hope you will use this as another resource in the planning of your special day. When it comes to selecting the right photographer(s) for your wedding day, knowledge is power.
